I like me an old-fashioned printed-out adaptable \ud83e\udee3 BMC!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcbbStep 2:\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><kbd>You\u2019ll need to align each element in your business model with your online presence.\u00a0<\/kbd><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChannels\u201d Describes how a company communicates with and reaches its Customer Segments to deliver a Value Proposition\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, align this with the content strategy by answering this question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What are the online channels that I can utilize and be active on; where my target\/prospective clients hang out? What are the online channels that will help me sell my products\/services? What are the channels that my \u201cdemography\u201d (age, sex\u2026.etc.) is active on?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcbbStep 3: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><kbd>Repeat this exercise for each one of the 9 elements of your BMC (business model canvas). <\/kbd>You\u2019ll have yourself a foundation of a decent content strategy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Shave off the non-priorities and migrate them to phase 2.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ytcopywriter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/yasmeen-the-copywriter-sitemap.png?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1838\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5 mistakes<\/strong>\u26a0\ufe0f<strong>to avoid when creating a content strategy<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remember that this is only the 1st version of your strategy. As I always say, this is not a Rosetta stone\ud83d\uddff. A content strategy<em> is meant to be flexible and changeable as you go!<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A content strategy (\u2260) A content plan\u2757 A content plan is literally the \u201clast\u201d step of the content strategy. Invest 70% of your time and energy in the foundation (the strategy), and go from there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your content strategy shouldn\u2019t \u201cstand alone\u201d. It needs to be aligned with what you\u2019re actually currently working on with your sales and business development teams (AKA your business objectives), otherwise: What is the point\ud83d\udc49\ud83d\udc48??<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thinking that your content will be miraculously shared by other people on other platforms. You\u2019ll need to have a content distribution plan (especially in the beginning)\ud83d\udc4d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And the usual stuff\ud83d\udc4b: low-quality content, not understanding who your target customers are, ignoring analytics, not developing content as you go, not testing (trial and error)&#8230;.etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ytcopywriter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/untitled-design-4-1.png?w=740\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1840\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accompany your content strategy with those <\/strong>&#8220;8 assets&#8221;<strong> to increase its effectiveness<\/strong>\ud83d\udc4c<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(You don\u2019t have to use them all.
